Pirate's Cove - Oh What Fun!

Daniel & Felicia resting on their golf clubs.

This is me attempting to play golf. I did get a hole in 1 on one of the courses!

Daniel was helping Hannah putt her ball. Both of the girls got tired by the time the course was over.

Mom was the first one to get a hole in 1 and I said she was gloating in this picture. It is a nice picture of her though.

Josiah being a very patient man, just sitting in his stroller while we played!

Pirate's Cove

Tuesday evening to finish off the day, we miniature golfing. We had went to one of these chains on our honeymoon so, it was fun to go to one like it. It is called Pirates cove, hence, the pirate patches on the girls eyes below.

Here's a picture of Daniel inside a cave where we miniature golfed.

A group shot of everyone watching Laura golf.

Felicia wanted her picture taken along the course so we did so.

Here's Hannah posing as well. When she saw Felicia get her picture taken, Hannah wanted hers taken too!

Santa's Workshop

After coming partway down Whiteface, we went to Santa's workshop. Here's Daniel and Hannah in an ornament ride.

Here's Felicia in an ornament ball helicopter ride.

Whiteface Mountain

Peeking around a rock - Hiding on Mommy

Daniel & myself out on the edge.

Felicia sitting pretty on a rock.

Dad helping Mom across the rocks.

Josiah with Lake Placid in the background.
Yesterday we decided to go to Whiteface Mountain. It is the 5th largest mountain in New York State. It is pretty high up. The picture above is a view of Lake Placid from the top.

Daniel, Felicia and Josiah in the clouds.

Laura was a little bit afraid out on the rocks. It is a ways up!
Daddy whispering sweet nothings to Felicia on the farthest point.

Mom and Dad and Hannah. When we are at my parent's house, Hannah is inseparable with Grandma. If you want to know where she is, just look for Grandma!

Eisenhower Locks

Below is a picture of Felicia at the locks standing by an anchor
Daddy and Josiah were watching the big ship come in. We forgot to put sunblock on the kids and Josiah got burned. Even his ears go burned!

Mom, Laura and Hannah watching the last boat we watched come in.

Sign for the Eisenhower Locks entrance

This is a tunnel that goes under the seaway. Mom thought we would like to go under it so we did. It takes you right under the water where the boats go through.

Eisenhower Locks

On Monday, we went to the Eisenhower Locks in Massena, NY. It was neat to see them make the boats go from one level of water to another level. We watched three big boats and two personal boats go through. It was quite interesting. Above is a boat getting ready to enter the locks.

Here's a picture of Felicia at the Locks. She was facinated by the whole process. She kept on asking all kinds of questions the whole time about the process and other things. She really enjoyed this activity.

Here's a picture of a boat leaving the lock. The turbulance behind it is terrific.

Felicia and Hannah standing by a wood boat at the locks.

Mom Major, Josiah and me waiting for Daddy to come donw from watching the boats. Josiah had his pants rolled because he had got into some water and had got them wet and they were falling down on him too when he walked on the bottom of them. Made it easier all the way around. :)
